Here at Shellharbour Village Pharmacy, we offer a range of medicines that can help reduce your symptoms and suffering:
Antihistamine Medications (Non-sedating)
Non-sedating Antihistamines help control sneezing and itching. However, to aid a blocked or runny nose nasal sprays are more effective.
Corticosteroid Nasal Sprays
Corticosteroid Nasal Sprays reduce inflammation in the nose. This inflammation is what causes the blocking of the nasal passage. They must be used regularly as directed to be effective.
Decongestant Nasal Sprays
Decongestant Nasal Sprays are used for quick relief, however, they should not be used for more than a few days. Long-term use of decongestant nasal sprays can cause harm to the lining of the nose.
Eye drops to aid in relieving itchy, swollen, or runny eyes. We carry a vast range of eye drops. Consult your doctor or a Shellharbour Village pharmacist for advice on which eye drops are right for you.
Selecting the right medication to aid your symptoms can be tricky. If you are unsure of what product would be best for you, speak to a Shellharbour Village pharmacist for guidance. We are always happy to help.
